I don't understand the purpose of this shows? going to single mothers, little high school drop out kids in the ghetto etc and label it black in America, like they are talking about something important for black ppl.

why don't she go to the decision makers of black ppl, the millionairs, the engineer and scientists, the politicians. I'm tired of these ppl making weakness and blackness synonymous.

Every progress a society makes starts from family values and respecting yourself. African-Americans, though only 12% of U.S pop, take the bulk of abortion cases and children born out of wedlock.

Historic discrimination doesn‘t undo itself but has to be overtly interrupted by affirmatively helping some people from previously excluded groups into positions where they have the opportunity to succeed.

So we as a country don‘t end up sealing in place forever a white supremacist society created by and defined by segregation and Jim Crow and slavery.

I was reading interesting statistic about african americans, the african americans are leaving the ghettos and going back to the southern areas of america. They have middle class neighbourhood in the south which are all black and economically their doing just as good as other americans.

Black ppl are doing quite well and economically have stranglehold on america. The problem they have is the government wasn't funding areas of inner cities where african americans lived and that is why they became ghettos. But african americans are now leaving and moving to the south and have already began creating middle class suburbs for themselves. It is even called now the great migration back to the south

They are doing quite well for themselves..11% unemployment, rising middle class, 1 trillion dollar buying power, that is 50% of the buying power america has. Rising middle class, their already out beating whites in income ratios. And now they are moving to the south to start all black middle class suburbs just like the whites have.

These ppl are not poor, not when u do statistical search.

Good progress but the stats of dysfunctional families is still disporportionate relative to their size, that is why Obama urged the African American male to be responsible fathers.

A healthy family translates to a healthy society.
