I was grazing with Dahir Riyaale's close childhood friend and a fellow Gadabuursi. He told me that Riyaale told him that Somalis will always be united and need each other and that this Somaliland project was simply a phase.

Riyaale was not any less Faqash than the numerous iSsaqs who were much more aggressive than him and did more harm. The Somaliland project was to cover up and undermine the SNM who wanted to hang these Faqash.
