isaaqs, with the help of their ethiopian allies, successfully rebelled and set-up sland because they were prosecuted, discriminated and even massacred by the clannish marehan/darod barre regime. but fast-forward 18 years latter and today they find themselves in a ironic position in the very country they set-up to escape the horrors of the past and to prevent anything like it from ever happening again: they're being politically prosecuted; their votes and voices are useless and ignored; their tribal leaders are thrown in mandhere prison and tortured there without even a second thought; dir clan militias who slaughter their innocents have political immunity with the state; the ruling elites of the gadabursi clan and their opportunistic habar awal and issa allies are less interested in developing and furthering, both economically and politically, this dirt-poor and 3world country than enriching themselves and protecting and preserving their corrupt ways by any means necessary.... etc. and oh btw their autocratic ruler is a former senior nss agent responsible for hunting/interrogating/torturing/liquidating snm rebels. its really sad and ironic what's going on in sland today. but they've no one else to blame but themselves. they lost sight of everything and let themselves be blinded by the delusion of recognition.

Dear Somali-Star.
The delusion of recognition is the dream for all Somalians. However, I would say that All Our elites whether they were Somalians or Somalilanders are obviously less interested in developing and furthering this country. Both sides gave their priorities to the so called (Private Interests) over the nation’s interest.
So let’s not Blame One Side
