Easier said than done. It may seem like a simple pharse, but when death comes it becomes impossible for someone who didnt abide by these words to say them. Inshallah May Allah enable us to utter these magnificent words on our death beds and to die whilst doing good ameen.

Subxanallah, that is really sad. It would be good to have someone near you when you're dying though, to remind you to say the shahadha but if the prophet (saw) couldn't make his uncle say it then no one can save you on your death bed.
ps I was surprised at the tiltle...Nobleman making such a thread

It makes you think walahi. I remember watching a recorded phone video from two dying journalists who were struck by a roadside bomb. The Afghani police were forcing them to say the Shahada but the only words that came from their mouth was some trival memory that kept playing in their mind.
