Why can't the Somali people forget the past??

Why can we as a people move on and forgive what happened in the past. Siyad Barre is long gone. The warlords who started the civil war are dead now or are going to die with a few years.

What I find most troubling is that the youth even hold grudges against people who have never affected their lives. Example, young Isaaq kids hating on Siyad Barre or Darood kids hating on Hawiye and vice versa.

Let the past go. Rwanda have moved on from their 1994 civil war, why can’t we

It isn't upto Somalis to forget the past and move on; it's upto foreign countries (especially the sole superpower).
