On the 15th of November 2005 at about 15:00 , the ruthless Ethiopian army came to the centre of the town and started shooting indiscriminately at the civilian people, this included women, children and the elderly. Hundreds were reported dead and wounded. Then the Ethiopian Army herded the people into the football ground and held them there until nine pm local time and Opened fire on the remaining people.
