He's from the Prophet Muhammad's (SAW) direct lineage and has his same name (Muhammad Ibn Abdullah). He's gonna be the leader of the Muslims worldwide and he won't even know that he's the Mahdi until it's made apparent to him.

Don't question authentic saxiix hadith

In What book can I find the Hadith? And which Hadith are you referring to? I need to know if there will be or is any person/persons whose lineage goes through the prophet. Quote me a source or step aside for others. Don't reply with empty rhetoric.

Not all of the Prophet's descendants (saw) were killed. His grand son Hussein's young son was smuggled out of Karbala just as Hussein (ra) was about to be killed. Hussein's wife and young son were only out of a few individuals spared that day. This great-grand son was briefly a guest at Yazid Ibn Mu'awiyah's palace in Damascus, then has disappeared in to the pages of the history books. It could very likely be that from this child could come a lineage, in which the Mahdi will be born of. Allahu aclam though.

He will be descended from the lineage of Fatima, the daughter of the prophet (Allah have mercy).
His name won't be Mahdi, but his mission is. His name will be Mohamed/ahmed bin Abdullahi. he won't even claim that he is the Mahdi, ppl will ask him to come and lead them and at first he will hesitate but then he will eventually accept it. One of the first signs that he is the true Mahdi is that, the first army that try to attack him, the earth will swallow them and after that it's on.

But ppl don't worry or wait for the Mahdi like the Christians are waiting for Jesus. The Mahdi isn't a prophet or God, he is just a human like us that is just a very God fearing, honest, just leader. You have the Quran and the Hadith, so you have all you need to bring back the honor of Islam.

A group of my Ummah will fight for the truth until near the day of judgment when Jesus, the son of Marry, will descend, and the leader of them will ask him to lead the prayer, but Jesus declines, saying: "No, Verily, among you Allah has made leaders for others and He has bestowed his bounty upon them.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad(SAW) has prophesied about several events that will occur just before the advent of the day of judgment. Among these, Rasulullah(SAW) has foretold the advent of one of his descendants, Al Mahdi (the guided one), which will materialize when the believers are severely oppressed in every corner of the world. He will fight the oppressors, unite the Muslims, bring peace and justice to the world, rule over the Arabs, and lead a prayer in Mekkah at which Isa(pbuh) (Jesus) will be present.
