Paidmonk, I don't think a warrior like Haji Waraabe would care about his hairs appearance in the past.

Dhagabacayl, This guy was a G he was the mastermind behind the raid on qoraxeey the dervish camps annihilating them and the sayyid escaped and later died in immy.

He doesn’t look more than 20 in that picture. :up:

I was chasing little xaliimos in my 20s. This guy was masterminding some of the largest raids in Somaliland history!

Actually in this picture his about 27 -30 but i guess some people look younger then their real age, well back in the days it wasn't surprising to see a guy in his late 20's masterminding attacks and leading a group of horsemens into the waterless haud to fight their nemesis.

No i think the picture was taken in the begin 20 century like in 1902 or 1903

Emperior, i think your right at that time he was bit younger then Haji Musa Farah Igarre which his picture riding the black horse is also 1903.

The question no one asked is whats the prove that this is a true picture of Xaaji Warsame Bulaale?? where did Siciid exactly found the picture, i see Jardine in the signiture but its misspelled. Siciid are you sure you didn't docotr a picture?

Xkeyse, i found it on this historic and informative blog owned by a Habr Yunis guy from Australia but i don't have the direct book of it i ll have to ask him.
