There is a wisdom behind this, just look at your hands, one is left and one is right, the right hand is dominant over the left hand, but they both work together. What would happen if God made both hands dominant like the right hand? they would be a confusion in your mind, when you want to grab something both hands would jump to grab, when you want to hold or touch both hands would do the same thing, because they are both dominant, but when you make one of them dominant, they compliment each other, and the right hand will go first and the left hand will only do what the right hand can't do, or what is its side.
The same way, God wanted both man and woman to live together and raise children, but he had to make one dominant, otherwise, they will be no partnership, because if they were both dominant, nothing will be done in the house, each one will suggest the other to do something, and each one of them wants to lead. so God made the man dominant enough to lead the house, go out and hunt and bring the dinner home and deal with other men, while the woman takes cares of the house and tends to the children.
