This cadaan guy happens to be one of the two senators of the state of Minnesota. Why do they do it? I don't know for certain. Maybe they believe that the presence of a white person gives legitimacy to whatever they are doing.

Why would you invite the governor of a whole state, to something as insicnificant as"Somali studies". you invite the mayor or city council for little events like that not a governor.

first of all you don't give a foriegn flag to a US government member whether he is a gov, senator or a mayor, its a bad PR for them.

The 26th of June is the commemoration of the independence of the British protectorate called Somaliland .
1/That flag wasn't even in the picture back the 26th of June 1960 .
2/ The people in these picture , assuming they are daarood dhulbahante , are the the biggest obstacle to the peace and stability of the self declared republic of Somaliland today !
