Looks like Hell. They should desalinate the water from the ocean and use it for irrigation. The photo looks about 5 years outdated, the place is a lot greener as of late.

Dude, Bossaso is that dry, if not dryer. Climate change, coupled with the fact that there isn't a real Gov there to stem its affects, along with the fact that it is naturally arid are all factors.
