Lool@ the title.

I was only like one.. too young to remember.
But my journey to the west was pretty easy and smooth. Alhamdullah.

As soon as the war started, we went str8 to Ethiopia were we stayed in a hotel for a few short months than we came straight to the UK. My abo has been living in the west since the age of 17, so he just applied for us and a few relatives and it was obviously granted. Pretty easy uh.

Alhamdullah we sure did. But I might have made it sound more rosey than it actually was..
I was actually only a few days old when our region was attacked. So we were in Somalia for over 9months *during the civil war*, mostly in the miyii (on the back of my dear camel)..

What's your story?

well qoraxeey, I was living the good life in muqdisho untill the hutu's started their uprising and the civil war came they looted everything from our house including my clothe's and shoe's.When they where done looting us all I had left was a lousy shorts. Then I decided to leave the city since we lost everything, so I went to kismaayo from there I found a smuggler with a boat who could smuggle us to nairobi halfway in the middle of the sea the old boat started taking in water and everyman had to swim for his life. In a shark infested water in the middle of the night, I had to swim all night in dark cold water untill I reached the coast in the early morning, then I had to hitchhike all the way from mombasa to nairobi so I did, from there I met an old scandinavian women who was working for a relief organisation,so I told her my history and asked her to find me a couple in her country that was willing to adopt a young man like me so she searched and finally she found a couple that would adopt me as their own son, after few month's of paper filling checking and aprovals. I was on my way to Europe flying in first-class.. :)
