Fact:
There is Zakat Al Fitr - That is 10 to 20 dollars per person for Ramadan and must be paid before the Eid Salat is done that also seals your Ramadan and is part of it and if not done, your Ramadan is said not to be granted by Allah SWT.
Simple yes or no answer will do... thanks in advance.
Who remembered to give their Zakat Al Fitr for Ramadan?

Re: Who remembered to give their Zakat Al Fitr for Ramadan?
Yes, like a month and a half ago.
I used to send it to relatives back home for years, but then found out its actually required to give it to needy Muslims in the city/country you reside in. So, lately I give it to our local masjid and they distribute it the day before Eid. And contrary to claims that there aren't needy Muslims/Somalis in North America, there are, plenty in fact, we just don't see them that often.
