I watched this last night, and man did it make me upset. Almost everything they interviewed had a weird thing to say but i must say the two girls take the cake. This two stupid stupid Somali girls thought they could just go to Jamaica and come back with suitcases packed with fish and drugs. Is it even possible for anyone to be that stupid? Good luck spending time in a Jamaican prison

Hiya Skippa, good to see that you are back walaalo
I've seen the documentary last night, what a sad state we're in. I honestly believe that the parents failed the kids.

From what I heard, they've done it once before and got away with it but when the parents alerted the police that they were missing..that's when they got caught.Gatspy wrote:s/a Skippa

Re: Greetings from...my living room
I'm still blown away by their stupidity siren, did they actually think everyone else was stupid enough to easily believe their lame story. Even the interviewer didn't buy their story, so what made them think a judge would buy it.
Re: Greetings from...my living room
Children become the product of the environment that they grew up with. We, Somalis, want to live in neighbourhoods so we can afford money backhome. Many of the Somalis in Canada and USA live in ghettos in our quest to live in low-income housing appartments. Well, when we raise our children in ghettos where the crime rates are so high, failing schools, plenty of drugs and drug dealers, and every thing else that comes with the drug trade, our children become the product of that environment.

Man i just watched the whole documentary. I cant even imagine what the parents are going through. Shocking.waryaa wrote:tnx Dusty! What a tragic story! dead son and a drug trafficker daughter facing prison time in Jamaica! I feel sorry for these two parents... speechlessThis could happen to anyone.
Like both stories seem so fishy, like both the girls and guy knew what they were upto. But at the same time the documentary and media in general can easily paint that type of picture.
We went through a phase like this in england, where somali kids were getting killed. From around 2003-2008. Alhamdulilah though there has been a change. More and more youth have become practicing muslims and have shunned that lifestyle. Walahi in London the cool thing is to be a good, decent muslim. I could probably step outside my door know and see a host of young brothers and sisters, in islamic garms, rushing to get to the masjid. Alhamdulilah Islam is the answer to our woes.

Re: Greetings from...my living room
Somalis are already digging themselves out of the hole our elder generation has dug us and now it seems retards are added into the equation... Walaahi the West has set us a trap. A new breed that are neither here or there... They have nothing of importance to add in Western society and the same applies for Somalia since they neither speak the language nor act like a Somali (deenta dhiceedna waa ka dhinteen... look at the way two hoes are dressed). Shame
