I have a sister who wants to be an mma fighter she has already fought in Thailand she did mauy thai
Won all her fights. And is currently in talks with strike force if all goes well she will sign a contract with them she is pretty good at what she does .For those of you who don’t know what mma is mma stands for mixed martial arts is the fastest growing sport in the world at the moment. But I myself have never heard or seen a Somali girl competing in mma or mauy thai until my sister so i was pretty shocked that she was in to that. I was just wondering what you Somalis think of this a Somali female mma fighter.

missfighter I have only met Habashi or sudani girls in such events this is the first i am hearing of a somali girl doing martial arts beyond the scope of a hobby.

by any chance is she from sweden?...im into mma myself I've only seen two Somali girls doing mma but not competing at your sisters level plus this was 7 years ago!

If this isn't a joke, then I say you sis should go for it. Why not? As long as she isn't a pimp or a prostitute , I welcome any career choices young somalis make.

Why? If she covers herself properly, what's the problem? The more xaliimos doing sports the better. They have all gone fat nowadays .

how so?...i mean it depends on the end goal those girls were doing for self-defense and to teach not to compete, i think one of em is married now.

If she is good to make a name for herself. I say do it. She'll be the first from the skinny ethnic group to make it in the MMA circles Maashallah.
