Pyongyang City! So-called starving capital of North Korea!

Post by RuralMan08 »

Monk, this is for you. :o

"Razed to the ground in 1952 during the Korean War, Pyongyang was reconstructed under the visionary plan of the leader Kim Il Sung, drawing on an ideal catalogue of architecture from all ages. The North Korean capital is the place where the modern dream has become reality, where we see the utopia and the nightmare of a city realised on the basis of a single global design."Photoshop Urbanism (2005)

Everything from that country is very old, building roads, houses etc. Even the goverments website looks like it was made during the 1996

What an ugly, characterless country. No thanks, I prefer our cities. They may lack infrastructure but they sure are interesting.

Khat is widespread over all of Somalia, maybe not for the time being due to al shabab. Taking cheap shots at north Somalia wont undermine the level of commitment they have of preserving peace.
