Two killed by roadside bomb in Somalia’s Puntland
At least two people including a police officer were killed and several others wounded in the explosion of a roadside bomb in Puntland’s commercial town of Bosaso, witnesses said Thursday.
Bosaso police chief Hussein Ali Dheere and his driver were killed in the blast, according to police sources.
The explosion, which could be heard throughout the neighborhood of New Bosaso, had targeted a convoy of Puntland police.
Witnesses said the number of soldiers wounded in the blast remained unconfirmed.
Initial reports suggest that about 10 people were detained in connection with the attack.
The incident comes less than 24 hours after Puntland’s security forces foiled an overnight assassination attempt against a civil servant. Two men armed with pistols shot and wounded a driver working for Puntland’s ministry of finance.

Many people were vindicated in the first assassination attempt. The word on the street was the assassins were from the south which could, if true endanger the lives of so many poor people. But one of the assassin who was killed turned out to be from Bari province.

Is it Al Shabab doing all these assassinations in Bossasso or are the assassination motivated by tribal politics?waryaa wrote:Many people were vindicated in the first assassination attempt. kartel, I'd be lying if I tell you one way or another.

Why all efforts are in Mogadishu and Boosaaso?
How come no one bothers the other major port, Berbera, which is heavily used by the Ethiopians?
Somebody somewhere decided they need to unleash something on Boosaaso after Mogadishu.

Udun and his anti-Somaliland stance. Not so surprising.

Every body is noticing your hypocrisy of using Islamic card while certain regions are being destabilized but the biggest port used by Ethiopians in Somalia is safe?Morrison wrote:A leopard cannot change its spots, what a hypocriteudun wrote:Why all efforts are in Mogadishu and Boosaaso?

I hope we learn all hypocricies that were hidden under the Islamic card.
Again my challenge stands why all efforts are taking place in Boosaaso and Mogadishu?
There is no doubt the rank and file of the Islamic movement is genuine but the top leadership is practicing nepotism in my view. After all, this is what Abu Mansoor was complaining. I think some are hiding their secessionist efforts under this Islamic movement and the sooner it is realized the better.

Udun, what on earth has this got to do with any port? Again, the root cause of your problems are well known,
Pathetic on its worst level.

I just raised questions guys, not that I diss any body. Yes, how come all efforts are in Mogadishu and Bosaso and nothing takes place in Berbera and Hargeisa? I have chosen Berbera because it has a port that is mostly used by the Ethiopians. It has been reported that Godane stated "do attack PL but don't attack SL until you conquer PL". What does that mean?
Remember I am just raising questions and did not say any thing else.

Abti why th munaafaqnimo. Why do you wish death on innocent civillians? Keep in mind Somaliland has a hands of approach to the south whilst Puntland constantly undermines it. Al-shabab is a southern movment and Somaliland has no influence in it..udun wrote:I just raised questions guys, not that I diss any body. Re: Two killed by roadside bomb in Somalia’s Puntland
udun, I don't believe Godane wields much power within Al Shabab. He is like the president of Ethiopia or Israel, just a figurehead and nothing more. As for Bossasso it is because of the locals being al shabab sympathizers. You never see anyone blowing themselves in Gerowe, Dhahar, or Laas Canood. If Al shabab was to do anything in the northwest regions then it will happen in Burco and not Hargaisa or Berbera because that is where the largest Al shabab sympathizers are from that region. So why did it no happen? Because Burco does not have something like Puntland Intelligence Services which is breathing on the peoples necks and pissing off the wrong types.

I said b4 and I will say it again. Puntland should not allow people who have burned their houses to immigrate to their lands. These fuckers will brainwash your youngster who will in return be your worst enemy. Deport these fucks back to their villages.
