Hotmail Issue

Hi.

I had a Hotmail email account that I had not used or checked for a while but yesterday I decided to log in because emailkan uu baahna. Anyway, when I tried to log in...it said that the email/password was incorrect. I thought it was the password because it was a while since I used it and i wasnt sure if it was correct therefore i tried to reset it. When it came to this, it started saying 'The email that you have provided does not exist'. Have they cancelled the account because it was not in use for so long and if this is the case is there any way of getting it back?

Any help regarding this problem much appreciated.

Yeah they cancel the account if you dont use it for a long period of time.

if it says does not exist, then re-create it. u won't have your stored email messages though.

I tried to re-create it...but its a .com one and they have only have .co.uk/live.co.uk available these days.

ask some1 outside of UK, like in the US to create it for you.

yep, it is going to work unless it is not available. They are just forcing you to to use he .uk so that they can serve you local content/ads

It should work, I live in the UK and have always used .com, and recently made a .com email instead of .co.uk.

Do you go onto msn.co.uk? or msn.com? when I go onto the msn website it assumes im in America, you should be able to have that setting.

Excecutive..Really? Had you manage that? Wheather I go msn.com or msn.co.uk, it doesnt matter...I think it automatically directs me to the UK one.

Not sure really this pops up when i go to msn.com, it lets me choice between the US or UK website.

Ex...Yeah, that crops up but it just directs you to the US MSN Homepage not Hotmail.

I think if you don't log into it for a month or so they usually close the account, but the account can be reactivated if you can verify it is yours. Anyway, hotmail sucks, try gmail.
