AIRPORT! Yup Going to the dreaded airport
I just booked tickets to go to Italy for a Medical project.
However in Italy the terror alert is on high So for sure they will search me, but I am worried if they find out I am Somali I will be banned from travelling or grilled for hours and hours.
Italy is not like other European countries they hate Muslims and thy don't care about human rights; they are known to be nationalists as well as fascists i.e. racists. Therefore they have very poor policies for non-Italians, meaning if they want they can throw me in a van and torture me for being Muslim and not give me any rights.
So guys I have a dilemma, How do I pretend I am not Somali so they don’t think I am al Qaeda or al shabab. They hate Muslims, blacks, and Somalis.
Can I pretend to be Ethiopian, Eritrean, any other you know? How do I get away with that, what should I say if they ask for my parents or grandparents nationalities. Country of origin?
What shall I do? What shall I say? Please Help
Thanks

they won't hassle you much if you're flying in from another euro country unless you're acting suspiciously. they will obviously question you if you're staying long though.

Re: Going to the Airport
They will ask for sure, my cousin is a chemical engineer and went to Texas for a training course and he was put in a room for 2 hours asking about al-shabab and they asked his country of origin several times. Then asked if he got terrorist training in Somalia, they were looking for any reason to not grant him entry to the country.The-Screw wrote:why would they ask you that? i think you're too paranoid.

Why do I claim, are you one of those people who think since I'm Somali I can't be a medical student. I never fault I would feel discrimination against my own people. Just when I've began being proud I am Somali and am in the midst of embracing it, people are putting me down
