Somalia´s goverment working to release "pirates" in kenya

Post by Coeus »

Some members of the Somali Parliament who are currently in the Kenyan coastal town Mombasa are devotedly engaged in realising, hundreds of Somali youths who detained in the various jails in Mombasa.

These Somali youths were intercepted by the Kenyan security forces while they were on their way to countries such as South Africa, Mozambique and Zambia.

“We are tirelessly working on how to free Somali youths who were detained in the tropical coastal town of Mombasa in Kenya by the Kenyan Police, while they were on their way to South Africa, which has in the last couple of years become a destination where the African people whose country is in trouble seek refuge from, but unfortunately these other Africans who flee to South Africa are underestimated and are even brutally killed especially the Somalis when they reach South Africa” said Professor Mohammed Omar Dalha who is a member in the Somali Parliament and the former deputy speaker of the Somali Parliament.

The Professor has also acknowledged that despite the arrest of the Somali youths the Kenyan government has vastly assisted the Somali people after civil war has broken out in Somalia in the year 1991.

“After the civil war in our country the Kenyan government whose President was by then Daniel Troitich Arap Moi has done all it could assist with the Somali people, and camped them in places like Dadab in North Eastern Province in Kenya, where till now there are thousands of Somali refuges under the United nations for Humanitarian assistances and with security protection of the Kenyan government” added professor Dalha.

It is not only in Kenya where Somalis are detained after the collapse of the last effective central government of Somalia hundreds of Somalis where arrested several countries in world wide, and the most mentionable countries among the countries in Africa where Somalis where arrested are Libya, Mozambique, Zambia, Tanzania and Kenya.
