I was reading about this 18th century character in France. Her name is Madame Du Barry. Anyway, this Madame was the mistress of the king of France. She was a courtasan, who received a slave boy of 'bengal origin' as a gift from the king. Although Madame grew up loving the slave boy, he ended up betraying her by reporting/siding to/with the revolutionaries, she was later guillitined. (This shows adoons can never be trusted, waa animals) She wrote in her diary that he is of african decent, although critics argue he was of bengal origin--as in from bengal thus indian.
