its not going to get any better, specially anywhere south of Baardheere, we are near April expect floods Barre needs move, if he wants to capture Kismaayo 2011, mind you there are nothing but dirt tracks anything south of Baardheer. the only other option is to go east and into Eelay land and then to Barawe another shishkabab strong hold before going to Kismaayo.

USC did capture the region and they were destroyed. After their defeat in Gedo they were not able to launch any more attacks on any region and they were eventually forced to retreat back to Mogadishu and fight amongst themselves for blocks of the city. Paved roads or the lack of it had nothing to do with it. Also the Kacaan was not to blame for the lack of development in Gedo but its former governors. Men like Iris pocketed the development money set aside for Gedo.
