Beledweyne alahayoo ka dhig beerta raxaada ... mashallah beledweyne is beautiful my mom went there in the 80's she says it one of the most beautiful cities she been to :up:

I don't think that picture of Beledwein. Probably Balcad if it is in Somalia. If you look at good earth there isn't any place in the city of Beledwein where the river traverses it in the way it is shown above in that picture.

thats beletweyn sxb...beerta raaxada ..balcad aint as big as beletweyn..the river reverses like a snake on the move dude :up:

I am still not convinced that this picture is of Beledweyn. It just does not go with the google earth satellite images of the city.

Uhm maybe I am not a professional photographer but I believe there is something called shot from a certain angle. If you look closely at the satellite picture you can see that in the top left part the farms are located on the outskirts of the city which matches my picture which show the city's panorama in bird eyes view. The zig-zag shape of the Shabele river is also evident in both pics. Clearly, the picture was taken from the top left part of the satelite pic.It goes without saying that one picture does not show you everything.

That's definitely Beledweyn. Balcad isn't even traversed by the Shabelle.
