Because they extend the arabe land rather than the buildings

I see, horta other than fruit orchards near waadis, is the land suitable for
other crops, say wheat for example?

Arabsiyo should have grown faster than any other town in Somaliland , doubled its size and population
keep in mind, Arabsiyo is just 15 minute drive west of Hargeisa, so I don’t know the reasons why Arabsiyo stays the same
could be reer Arabsiyo don't want to sell their land to Rerr Hargeisa

Anyone read the book "last camel stories" by Jean a former peace corp teacher volunteer who was stationed in this town in 1960s. The book is about her experience teaching there. She has alot of funny stories to tell including that locals adopted her into the h/awal clan and how locals translated her name into 'jinn'. Magacaygu waa Jeane she says and locals go "jinn' aa bisinka tani waaba jinn eega indha heeda qururada ah lool
