Pay £1.50 for something you can get free from the tap

That's what I have. Hectic with having to change the filters every now and then, but a money-saver in the long run.gemini_snake wrote:bottled water is a waste of money. get yourself a brita water filter.
If you drink regular tap water on a daily basis, you're f-king with your health. Most public water in this country is re-treated waste water. Not to mention constant main-breaks, run offs from storm drains, "boiling in effect" bulletins at any given time. Just this week there was a major storm here and a water main break, and a boil-your-water bulletin was on the local news, but how would everyone know that? Not to mention the overly exaggerated floride and chlorine levels in tap water. Unless you live in the Swiss alps and get crystal clean, spring water I say get yourself a filter system, easily available at most retailers. Preferably the system that connect to your main line, not just the faucet.

Its 50/50. Half of all tap water is from groundwater, in that case its already very clean; in fact bottled water companies just hook up their hoses to the municipal wells and do their thing without treating.
Tap water has regulations and standards it must meet, but there are zero regulations and standards for bottled water; its the most risky source imaginable.
Also, for our topic starter - all bottled water companies are owned by major soda and energy drink manufacturers.

since i heard this i have been looking through each bread spread to check if there was a dead rodent before putting it into the cabinetjuzme123 wrote:damnI remember reading a story about the family who found a dead rat at the back of the loaf of bread they had been eating for a week
topic starter, dont even drink canned drinks, its not whats inside them you should worry about but what has been on them at some point, remember this BS does not have a cap so the place your drinking from has had anything from rodents, stray cats and wild dogs, anything could have been on it including blood, remember it has been around for months some times years before you bought it. also metal is the best medium for bacteria and diseases so your really washing down a plate of nasty stuff down your throat.
atleast bottle water you only have to worry about whats in it which gives you room to speculate.
