i almost cried...
watching this documentary about toxic waste being dumped into Somali waters and subsequently creating many problems, including rare illnesses, for local fishermen and the people of coastal towns have made me almost cry. in an effort to contain my composure, i stopped and didn't finish watching it.
it is so devastating and disgraceful to hear these stories and it makes me wonder what kind of people we are!!! how embarrassing it is!!!
we are killing each other for nothing, much less protecting our waters and sovereignty.
wallaahi i don't know what to think!!

Thanks brother, will watch it later. It can be educational and motivational tool. Somalis are busy with each other's demise, it makes sense for others to take advantage of them in a cut-throat world.

Re: i almost cried...
are you friggin' serious bro......grow some balls
anyway good mini documentary.....taught me a few things about somalia
i become deeply emotional when i hear things like "boat carrying Somali refugees capsized, 40 feared dead."
it is something i deeply care about. if you are indifferent, i am not.
we have reached the point where not only industrialized world dump their toxic garbage in our ocean but some developing countries like the Philippians are also taking further step by contracting with others to dump waste in our waters and at the sometime take what little fish we have left in our waters.
it is estimated that soon our ocean will be out of fish due to the huge commercial fishing boats illegally fishing in our waters.
everywhere you look, it is all sad!!!
