Any poets in here? Lets share some literature...

Post by Mystic_Angel »

I haven't done one in a while...

No title

I'm thankful for small mercies, like the beauty in your eyes.
I'm grateful for the right to feel the warmth of your thighs.
I love to watch you cross the room, your muscles tense with each step.
I like the smudged mascara look when i know you haven't slept.
I wonder often at your movements as encapturing as they are.
And the sense of beauteous release each time you touch my heart.

I love it when you come to me to hold you in the night.
I like it when we're still together at the breaking of daylight.
A million nights we've sat together and counted all the stars.
And not one of them is as full of light as i believe you are.

lately on my mind is a wedding night
so I can at last turn off the light
I cant promise, I wont bite

xayaat I miss you and your beautiful face,
you always make my heart race,
even from a distance as far as the danish-space

whenever you are on my mind, I have a reaction
its not hard to notice my satisfaction
love passion and a little bit of one on one action

warm breath sweet words and a touch of adoring
here is my confession as a warning
physical attraction till early in the morning

you in your baati in the kitchen
your body itching
are u ready for a story non-fiction

giving you some loving education
no more sexual frustration
exploding physical expression

gone are the days of your innocence
you will be undressing
and I will be assessing

you are young and in need to be tasted
i want you naked
beautiful wife and sacred

I am a young man with a condition
with you as his mission
making you xalal for me, is my ambition

Bismillah

It's a habit of yours to walk slowly.
You hold a grudge for years.
With such heaviness, how can you be modest?
With such attachments, do you expect to arrive anywhere?

Be wide as the air to learn a secret.
Right now you're equal portions clay
and water, thick mud.
Abraham learned how the sun and moon and the stars all set.
He said, No longer will I try to assign partners for God.

You are so weak. Give up to grace.
The ocean takes care of each wave
till it gets to shore.
You need more help than you know.
You're trying to live your life in open scaffolding.
Say Bismillah, In the name of God
as the priest does with a knife when he offers an animal.

Bismillah your old self
To find your real name.

My heart is like an oyster shell, the beloved's phantom is the peral;
now i am no more contained for this house is filled with Him.
Night split the lip of my soul with the sweetness of His talk;
I am surprised at him who says, "Truth is bitter."
Mortals food comes from without, but the lover's food comes from within;
he regurgitates and chews, for the lover is like a camel.
Be swift-faring like a peri, denude yourself of your body,
nakedness is not allowed to him who has the mange.
Salah-al-Din has came to the chase; all the lions are his quarry;
that man is his servant who is free from the two world.

From these depths depart towards heaven;
may your soul be happy, journey joyfully.
You have escaped from the city full of fear and trembling;
happily become a resident of the Abode of Security
If the body’s image has gone, await the image-maker; if the
body is utterly ruined, become all soul.
If your face has become saffron pale through death, become a
dweller among tulip beds and Judas trees.
If the doors of repose have been barred to you, come, depart
by way of the roof and the ladder.
If you are alone from Friends and companions, by the help of
God become a saheb-qeran. [lord of happy circumstance].
If you have been secluded from water and bread, like bread
become the food of the souls, and so become!

In your light I learn how to love.

In your beauty, how to make poems.

You dance inside my chest,

where no one sees you,

but sometimes I do,

and that sight becomes this art.

how very close

how very close
is your soul with mine
i know for sure
everything you think
goes through my mind

i am with you
now and doomsday
not like a host
caring for you
at a feast alone

with you i am happy
all the times
the time i offer my life
or the time
you gift me your love

offering my life
is a profitable venture
each life i give
you pay in turn
a hundred lives again

in this house
there are a thousand
dead and still souls
making you stay
as this will be yours

a handful of earth
cries aloud
i used to be hair or
i used to be bones

and just the moment
when you are all confused
leaps forth a voice
hold me close
i'm love and
i'm always yours
