Tightrope is the recent winner of the Somali Patriot of the Month Award for the month of May. She is an intelligent, kind hearted, and actively contributing member of this forum. Her recent banning is unacceptable, and must be revoked immediately. SomaliNet forum should not become a place where political correctness reigns, and where oppressive rules prevent members from speaking their minds freely. Furthermore, the arbitrary and capricious nature of the banning must be called into question, as many members make racist comments on a regular basis and are not punished for it, nor is there any regularly enforced rule saying you can’t be prejudice towards Bantus or any other ethnic group. We ask the forum administration to unban tightrope in the speediest fashion, and to endeavor to prevent arbitrary banning in the future against all members, regardless of their persuasion.
