A genocide is happening there as we speak right now.

Operation "Ramadan Hope" should be started by the somali communities around the world.

^ Waa runta walle.

There is a huge famine in Somalia and East Africa in general, the drought has hit the motherland very badly this time! May Allah swt bring us out of this situation. Amiin. But we in the West must do something! I really really want to help, to the best of my ability, if you two know (West&HK) any organisations looking for people let me know inshaAllah.

So sad I was watching some guy speaking about it on Aljazeera Arabic forgot his complete name, but something Gelle, I know one of his family member. Anyways, loads of people left Bay & Bakool and Gedo for Xamar, people have died in loads of other areas too. Very sad wallah.

For starters, how about collecting the names of genuine charity organizations that are currently operating in Somalia (preferrably Koonfur) since this is were the need is most.

Local charity organizations before international ones, then we can have a donation drive on Snet.

Not ACtually the whole of somali peninsula, only Southern Part of the country mainly between the Borders to Ethiopia and Kenya... Puntland had their rains and are doing ok so is Somaliland except a little area near djibouti, wich gets Aid from Somaliland and Djibouti, may god help this poor souls..

what people can do is there is some somali charities, who's helping this people, try to find them and donate man, it aint that much from your pockets, 100 dollars is nothing to you guys, but could help a whole family for some time.... Khayrka ilaahay kuu soo celinayo aya ka badan!!!!

Ilaahay Dadkaaga Gargaaar!!!!!
