Somali national military court of the transitional federal government has on Tuesday sentenced two soldiers to 5 years in prison after they were found guilty of robbery, officials said.
Chairperson of the Somali military court, Col. Hassan Hussein Mungab told the soldiers were found guilty saying that they robbed a store in Dharkenlay district of Benadir region, thus they were sentenced to 5 years of jail.
Somali national military court recently opened stations at the front lines and told they would sentence government soldiers commiting crimes at the warring zones in the capital Mogadishu.
