Since Al-Shabaabs collapse there are clan feud in Lower Shabelle between Mudulood and D&M. Beesha Jareerweyn has also took part in the war siding with Mudlood. The fight took part in Sheik Shariffs birth place called Mahadaay. Indeed Al-Shabaab has collapsed.

We hereby express our gratitude to the international community for their role in helping Somalia’s peace initiatives.
We fully support the transitional institutions in Somalia and the international community’s efforts aimed at restoring peace in Somalia, but we are very disappointed with some decisions being made in the country with the influence of some of the regional bodies involved in Somalia crisis.

We, Wagosha people in southern Somalia, as discriminated community in their land are very discontent with a so called conference being hosted by Kenya that aimed at forming a regional administration for Jubbaland regions in southern Somalia.

As per the charter of Somalia’s transitional administration, the country is supposed to have regional administrations based on mutual understanding among the inhabitants or the clans living in the concerned region.

Now, an outsider Mohamed Abdi Gandi, who is from Ethiopia is holding a meeting in Kenya with the help of some international organizations like AMISOM that is aimed top bury our primary rights in our land.

AMISOM officials have been working with Gandi for long time and now they are part of the organizers of this conference. The top AMISOM officials have also been invited to attend this so called conference being held in Kenyan territory.

For the last two years we have been making contacts with AMISOM regarding our issue and how ready we were to discuss the issue of Jubbaland. But, the AMISOM officials kept us waiting for ever without respond until one of them clearly told us that there was no right that was missing from us and that we were better to keep silent.
We think that if a genuine solution is being sought, then free and fair dialogue should be allowed and this can help to reach authentic and sincere deal among the rival factions.

We have witnessed pro Gandi members in Nairobi’s Eastleigh suburb collecting some refugees to the conference venue . The refugees collcted from Eastleigh and other parts do not represent any in Jubba regions, but its like a plan game orchestrated by different parts with the aim creating more problems in Jubba regions.

As an armed freedom fighters group, its clear that Wagosha people will never allow any outcome from Gandi’s meeting in Nairobi and we are being pushed to take some “measures” in order to protect our people.

We are people who were massacred in their land and as we speak no action was taken from those responsible of these atrocities. We can sense what is coming from an administration that is supposed to be formed without our knowledge. So that we make it clear that our people will make what ever possible to resist against this so- called administration in order to defend their rights and stop any other genocide like the one happened in 1990ties.

If the Jubbaland issue is to be addressed fairly an all inclusive conference should be held and every clan should be given a right to choose its representatives, but not the way things are being done now.

I monitor them very carefully, and they are in matter of time to collapse. They lost many bases throughout Somalia, the people of Somalia hate them. They are dead man walking.
