Troy Davis is to be executed in a couple hrs, should he be executed?

not to mention some of the jury who convicted him were black, and now they reveresed their position, saying that they were forced to do it or they didn't know what was going on.

there are a lot of police and protests in front of the jail, will there be riots like london?

Are you guys defending him because of his race :? The dude is guilty as fuck ! there is no question about that. We know because he did shoot another person a few hours before the murder of the police officer. The same gun was used for both shootings. I have faith in the American Justice System so fuck off

^then why did 7 of the 9 witnesses recant their statements? Has the thought of the police coercing these people into testifying against an innocent man ever cross your mind?

They're probably gonna execute, then a couple months/years down the road are gonna find a "miscarriage of justice" and his family will get a fat settlement. Only in the "land of the free"

Why do the daft pundits insist on calling this clear cut trial a "miscarriage" of justice. It's an outright abortion.

Yes 7 have since recanted, but that is not uncommon. I still think he is a guilty & should be killed !

Even though I support capital punishment, I believe it should only be used when the person's guilty beyond recognition. This case shows a lot of uncertainties and I think he should be imprisoned indefinitely until it is more than obvious that he killed the officer.

^ You're not the brightest spark are you my little camel? If you want to remand him in prison forever, you are operating on the principle that he is guilty. And if he is guilty, he is ripe for the hangman.

And there's no such thing as guilty beyond all doubt unless you have CCTV evidence. Since all murders are committed in secret, a degree of uncertainty will always attach to a case if a defence attorney does a good job of muddying the waters. Even DNA can be fabricated.

The best way to ensure that innocents are wronged against is to have capital punishment.

American white conservatives are pretty demonic, they thrive on evil and hate for black people.....if this guy was white he would have been released and compensated long time ago. God I hope a huge storm wipes out the dirty south filth soon and skips the good people (minorities and few good cadaans).

Davis is innocent. Witnesses recanted their testimonies. He isn't guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. This is bullshid.

Casey Anthony had more dirt on her and got off easily.

Race has to do with this and being in the South doesn't help things either
