Bro I experianced that a couple of times in the past
That shit waa scary. After enquiring about it though, ain't nothing wrong
It's just a safety mechanism to stop us sleep walking and acting out our dreams
Best to just fall back asleep.even though the urge to move and wake up is strong

Such experiences are caused by what's known as sleep paralysis (or SP), a phenomenon that occurs every night in the typical sleeper to prevent him or her from acting out dreams during REM sleep (more on this below). When this paralysis outlasts sleep, as it sometimes can, you get instances like those described above. Waking up to SP can be an extraordinarily frightening situation, as you might know from personal experience or can tell from the personal stories on this page, but rest assured that it is not uncommon and typically not a cause for too much concern.

Good question....Walaahi...Sometime ago..long ago...I have had several episodes of such a behavior.... Usually I would be in a nightmare or something...So I tell myself to wakeup and im fighting to wake up and I feel like im been held back from waking up ...I feel so helpless....Alhamdulilah I havent experienced in a while...But you just get use to it...Plus, just know it is a blessing to fall sleep because others cant even have the pleasure to be sleep..Like...Michael Jackson...He died for it..

Only once before and yeah it was definitely scary, I was 16 or something.

It began as a really weird, abstract dream that I can stilly remember vividly, where I was in space and I was dodging large steel frameworks from hitting me, but at a certain point I lost my strength because I was floating in space and then the steel frameworks started pushing on me and pushing on me and I felt like I was getting crushed. By this time I woke up but I was still in my horrible dream and I still felt like I was being pushed into my bed and I could see the steel frameworks floating in my bedroom. :o I could see my bedroom and see my uncle from Australia sleeping in the bed next to me. I was soaking wet and trippin, but could make noise after a while which woke my uncle up. I could hear him whisper (b/c it was in the middle of the night): "waryaa, what's going on adeer!" and all I could muster was: "ahhhh huhhhhh wahhhhh" and he was like: " :| ". You know what he did, the sonamabijj, he told me to fix up and then he went back to sleep and ignored me for the rest of the night. That's when I felt like I was going to die that night. I was screaming for help, but I was trapped. I honestly believed my Final Hour broke and I was about to either die or enter another dimension or something.

Then somehow I went back to sleep, woke up again and I was ok, but I still felt like all the energy was drained out of me. I was still soaking wet. My bed was like a sponge. I get into the shower and started to psychoanalyze the whole situation, ate some cereal and then went to school. Never really spoke about it ever since.

It's a normal experience. Pretty scary though. It is usually a Jinn trying to cause you distress. They sit on the part of the body that causes full scale paralysis. If you seek refuge with Allah and recite the Three Quls and Ayat ul Kursi either before or after this event it will suffice you.
