Canadian supermodel tumbles on the Toronto Fashion Week runway Christopher Oct 19, 2011
On Tuesday evening Sears presented their second collection with creative director Jay Manuel of America's Next Top Model fame at LG Toronto Fashion Week. Urban safari-inspired chic threads, thumping beats, gusts of dry ice on a super slick runway and... a model goes down. But it wasn't just any model, it was Canadian supermodel Yasmin Warsame.
On her first strut down the runway (the second look of the show) the 35-year-old model took a nasty tumble amid excessive clouds of dry ice. Thankfully Yasmin handled her fall like a pro and quickly got on her feet with the assistance of Top Model judge Nole Marin (or his doppelganger). As the supportive crowd cheered, a remixed version of "I Will Survive" was playing in the background. Ironic no?
