White converts eh?! I read studies that say they leave Islam the quickest of all other convert groups. They should all choose Buddhism from the beginning, I mean I think thats what they're all looking for. If he has a problem about Animal welfare he should look closer to home. Killing indiscriminately them in factories where they are abused and fed sub standard food. In our cultures we take them them out to pasture and are proud its free range.Then we kill them with a blessing. Two dead animals, two completely different philosophies. Go jump off a bus...its not animal sacrifice, whoever taught him Islam needs to re-take their shahaada.
