I DO NOT Support somaliland independence

...just that, I think isaaq can not be trusted, I prefer to live alongside the old somalia, as long as its peaceful and abandons backwards ideas like somaliweyene. I have realised and am sorry to say this, the isaaq really do not want to see a peaceful south somalia, they think it will ruin there chances of independence, I have seen this from isaaq bloggers here and on somaliland website, they oppose Kenya not because of greater somalia good, but because they are afraid it will bring peace in south somalia if it is successful. this obviuolsy will make the international community not ever accept a somaliland secession. I know you say you trust a Somali more than a Bantu, but heed my advice. already in the south our army has been received very warmly, they have set up hospitals and are winning the natives hearts and mind not like the Ethiopians who raped and pillaged . So Darod(ogaden and marehan) and hawiye lets help each other and realise Kenya is your true friend. we can even help you to reclaim somaliland one day . Thank you.

I, for one, honestly and sincerely believe you told 100% truth about Somalilander crocodile tears. When the hell did the people who chose secession and said "a child born in Addis Ababa is closer than a child born in Mogadishu" while getting pimped out to destroy the Somali state care about Somali patriotism? Meru is a Kenyan who neighbors Jubbaland and shares economic and security concerns. At least if you are part of the Somali Republic you can have a vantage with which to partake in the discussion but unilaterally secessionist state which doesn't even share borders with the places in question are not in a position to partake in discussions concerning such issues.

Isaaq oppose Kenya's invasion just as they opposed the Ethiopian invasion.And now Kenya wants to set up a puppet government in Jubba when atleast the Ethiopians left for good.
Somaliland has advised Somalis to NOT depend on the outside forces to get peace, neither did the previous countless number of peace conferences bring anything.

Other Bantu nations such Burundi are not of the same threat since they do not border Somalia
