Eritrea’s ambassador to Kenya said Friday that there is no proof to back allegations that Eritrea supplied three planeloads of weapons to al-Qaida-linked militants in Somalia being pursued by the Kenyan army.
Beyene Russom told The Associated Press that it would be impossible for the small, East Africa country to supply weapons because it is under a U.N. arms embargo and is being monitored by the U.S. government and the U.N.
“We can’t do that because it is a very complicated operation,” Russom said. “We do not have the capacity to bring three planes in two days, crossing the airspace of Djibouti, crossing the Red Sea and entering the Indian Ocean and entering Somalia airspace, unloading and flying back in this highly militarized area.”
The U.S. also has a military base in Djibouti.

i remember a funny Situation that happened Few years ago, i was Visiting dubai and went to the mall and inside this Ice cream shop this Little somali Kid ( 8 yrs old) was Fighting with a Little Dark Emirati Kid while their parents were watching them like its a test of how they would go..at the start it was innocent till Little Emirati Kid decided to punch under the belt and called the little somali Kid "somali Abd" i was like O-O....but the Little somali Kid turned around and replied "Abd as in abd when my great grandfather Chained and sold your great grandfather to the arabs from the jungle Kind of abd". I was on the floor Laughing.I couldn't Hold it since we were all muslims and haram but It was too much just too giggle had to let it all out.I still laugh about it till this day. BTW The emirati kid started Crying while his parent took him away and the somali parent slapped his hands and bought him a jumbo sized Ice cream. I suspect the slap on the hand was a show off and the bigger icecream was a reward. I mean who would've filled his mind with such history like that. His dad looked at me while i was trying to clam down with tear in my eyes and i asked him "Your son" and he proudly said " My favourite son" i replied " mashallah you should make a politican out of him he knows how to get the message across".lol
