Single Mothers are the least fortunate In USA

Post by caburiye1 »

In Somalia, It was not such big deal if a girl is divorced. In America, The Only decent suiters single mothers ever get are low life opportunists somalis who just do not want to pay rent or do not want to take responsibility. All they are thinking is , she is a single mom therefore cheap. Even though this kind of hostile environment would detour women from asking for divorces, You can understand what it means like a girl to leave the guy who married her when she was young and virgin who used to hold her with such high standard and ending up being treated like a second choice girl.

I have couple of single mom relatives and it is really hurt breaking to see the proposals that they get. One of them told me, Nin tuur leh ayaa ishukaansaday maalin dhawd." and when she showed no interest, he told her, he thought of helping her since he has seen how she is suffering raising 3 children by herself. The Only smart ones are the ones that go to the masjid everyday and end up getting a religious husband. Still, He would be one with couple of xaas or a single father himself. still baby moma drama starts.

What do you think?

I think it has always has been this way in the somali community. Single mothers aren't appreciation because the intellectual and respected men don't see them as potential housewives but the reason their husbands left them. Its sad but every men wants to raise his own kids instead of raising a kid that will leave them tomorrow.

I think the causes and factors that contribute to single motherhood should be studied. With the study, solutions would be suggested, and future couples would be better informed so to avoid divorce.

Children need a father or father figure. Without a father, a child would develop a host of psychological ills and not grow up normal.

Nabeela,

I think the single mothers are humans and they have sexual desires like other women. Some of them are divorced as young as 23 years old. Unfortunately, Most of the boys repel away once they see their mother with another man. The boys feel jealousy and does not want to associate with the step father. believe me it is so hard in the west for gabdhaha lafuray oo caruurta leh. For some reason, they were ok in Somalia. Maybe because the kids used to remain with their fathers and the girl had another chance to look for another husband. There was also ayeeyo, habaryar, abti which the children could live with.
