this is true, they were deported there as a punishment by Ugaas Nuur Cubudiye in a famous story in the 1870s. this is a very famous saga. they were deported from shilabo and into gedo and duusa mareeb area, infact ask an elder about this story and how the city dussa mareeb came about.
