I would translate it but like Midi I'm too lazy and I was guessing a lot of folks here have been to Arab countries in the past. Egyptian dialect is very easy to catch up on unlike Lebanese, etc.
Anyways we'll see inshallah, I posted it so I think the translation is on me.

Re: Why The Famine In Somalia and Not In Neighboring Countri
Basically he's saying the situation in Somalia, as everyone sees it, is wrong and the story is much deeper than the 4 years Somalia hasn't seen any rain. This ''scenario'' has been planned up for over 20 years and whether it was the American troops coming in and trying to take over, failing miserably, or them sending Ethiopian troops time and time again or them leading and instigating the tribal wars in the south (?) their ultimate plan of getting control of Somalia, and thus eliminating the influence Islam has on the region fell short.
The ''issue'' the Americans have with us is unlike Eritrea, Ethiopa, and Kenya, all christian led governments, Somalis aren't backing down, even if we have tribal issues to deal with, the fact of the matter is Somalia is the only Muslim country in Africa that is 100% Sunni Muslim and the only one that has implemented Islamic law in the region. So in other words he's saying starving them to death is the only measure left, hence why were the only place in the horn of Africa affected by this tragedy, really has less to do with the fact that the countries around us have ''stable'' government, and more with us not being submissive to them.
That's as much as I could write out of

Enough said, the guy brought up some good pointers, some of the claims he made can be disputative, overall I agree with him

This famine was planned for 20 years to eliminate the influence of Islam in the region. American troops coming in and trying to take over. Instigating the tribal wars in the South, etc.. Man, those Americans can plan ahead!

Re: Why The Famine In Somalia and Not In Neighboring Countri
The reason is simple, there is some effective gov system in the naighbouring countries and somalis is in a total state of choas which is the result of bad strategic miscalculations of the previous generations.the only time i can say USA has a part in this status quo is when it opposed the ICU who pacified the south and was seen as the legitimate representative of the somali interests.
