jazzy and p diddy are the closest to resemble somalis, with that said, i can still differentiate between a somali and any other black man easily, we just have such a distinct look that makes us look kinda 'bait' if you know what i mean
Kobe Bryant for sure. Keep in mind he was born in Italy when his dad was play basketball there. Somalis were always living in that part of Europe since God knows when, I don't know the background but maybe he does got Somali in him.
Also Yalaxow mentioned Brandon Jennings, ironically played in Italy and skipped playing college ball. This fella has Somali written all over him, even his smirk resembles your typical faarax shaxaari, not to mention he has the unique Somali trait of being late to big events (look back NBA 2009 draft)
Diddy and Eddie Griffin get honorary mentions, but Will Smith?? come one now, Somalis aren't the only Africans with light skin traits, its all about the facial structure and not the skin tone.
Michael Steele is a classic Amhara or even Hindi/Paki, no way he could ever pass as Somali.
I agree with Cinque that Eddie Griffin and Jazzy Jeff have the 'classic' Somali appearance. But I give P. Diddy my vote since even non-Somalis joke about him being Somali and since he was the first "lost Somali" known to the entire Somali community. Also, you forgot Karl Malone, when we were qaxootis my family used to root for the Utah Jazz just because of the strong belief that he was a Somali.
All of them are solid candidates, but you missed quite a few. There are TONS of famous African-American women who could pass as Somali. AA guys in general and those in the media tend to have extreme looks on the spectrum, either too "big & black" or too mulatto or just strong jigaboo appearance whereas a lot of the AA women in the media have 'softer' features. Examples; Monica, Pam Grier, Olivia, Diana Ross, Nia Long, etc.
