Let’s say you are at work and you are performing abolition and you got interrupted before you finished.
You halted and proceeded to help the individual and returned moments later to finish the abolition.
My question is:
Could you continue from where you have left or do you have to start over?

If you take so much a time that the water dries then you have to redo it. Remember the Wudu is akin to salat, it is ibaado, and it is the door to enter salat, without it your salat is not complete. You must take it serious and not let any distractions come between you, nor should you even talk during it. So take the safest route and start over.

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
الحمد لله Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
In my opinion:
Why continue when you are not sure? No you redo that is what you do. If you are about to pray and think do I have wudu? You do wudu and then pray. It is the same here, when in doubt do it again.
That is common sense.

I would start over just because it removes all doubt. It would take maybe 60 seconds longer and u are completely sure. Why risk it when it takes such little effort.
