After the implant scandal of the french company using low-grade industrial silicone gel intead of specialist silicone gel. I found out that a somali female that I knew had implants. She talked about this in the media (radio interview). She's a normal hijabi, not the stereotypical beauty obsessed woman with implants.

Is this a odd case, or do somali women go under the knife?

You knew her? I would think this was rare.

If anyone searched for and is reading this, and has considered what was shared... please, please, please don't do this to your body.

I dont think Somalis are immune to self esteem issues.Altho most come off very confident and self assured.

Breast reduction is considered normal why shouldn't a woman get implants,if the other can make her breasts smaller.

The two procedures are very different.In breast reduction,they are not opening u up and inserting foreign objects that u carry around forever.

Its still the same the one that gets her breasts smaller is changing the creation of God. If the procedure is done the right way , I don't see the difference between breast implants and breast reduction because they are both changing what God has given them..

Wouldnt that depend on the reason tht woman got breast reduction for? There are women who do it because they cant handle the weight and chronic back pain.Should they just suffer for it because they would be changing Allah`s creation if they got it reduced?

There is never the right answer for those questions. I know a woman that got her breasts reducted because she was marrying again. Why can't a girl get implants to feel sexy.

Again,all depends on the reason.

I actually know a couple of Muslim girls who have had the procedure. They all had the procedure with the full support of their parents too. I actually strongly considered having one when I was younger but decided against it after some careful reflection. I filled out in recent years, thanks to some weight gain and bc regiment I started a couple years back.
