Ghana or Ivory coast. I don't get these Egyptians though, they win the trophy for PAST THREE STRAIGHT TIMES and they still can't past the qualification stage

Even more shocking about these embecile Egyptian Arabs is the fact that they have Won all these African cups yet they havent been in the world cup since the 80s..Unlucky for them they win their Cups in a non-world cup qualifications years...looool....But this year it is so unbelievable bc Giant teams have been eliminated in group play, teams like Nigeria, Egypt and Cameroon...

Not sure what football you've been watching but the past FIVE tournments have not been poor at all. Still, it took for the Egyptians and Nigerians to miss to for Ivory Coast to finally have a realistic chance of winning the thing.Mondey wrote:damn it i always hated this tournament, very poor football, poor stadiums, players not playing sincerely coz they can't wait to go back to europe.. and its very frequent (every two years wtf!) i will never watch this.

Only since 2004 when Tunisia won it for the first time. Before that, Cameroon won two in a row. In addition, and if you exlude the giants that are EGYPT, Ghana has won the tournment more times than all the other north African countries combined. Nigeria & Congo also won it twice. But Egypt stands alone with it's SEVEN wins.abdi.ismail wrote:Obviously some North African country will win it. The same thing every year...
The obvious bet this year is Drogba's Ivory Coast (with the Kolo brothers, Tiote & Kalu in the team). Ghana (following their exploits in the recent world cup) are not far behind. But my tip for the dark horses are Mali & Senegal. It should be an interesting tournment either way.
