for 20 years they have achieved nothing while mogadishu in the last 6 months has better living standards than hargeysa. mogadishu has cheaper electricty, gas, oil and food.

Your obviusly stupid. There is a great asset in the Waqooyi & that is the Somali people there. They brought the flag to Mogadishu along with Unity in the 60's. I love my people in my region in Waqooyi & i know that sakhraan siilanyo doesnt represent them.

Somaliland: Ministry calls attention to open acreage

The Somaliland Ministry of Mining, Energy and Water Resources in Hargeisa is offering open acreage in the country for oil and gas exploration.
Interested parties were asked to approach the ministry before being directed to TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Co. for access to technical data to assist in evaluating the acreage at data rooms in Houston and Surbiton, UK.
Somaliland’s several basins lie north of Ethiopia and across the Gulf of Aden from Yemen. The Somaliland government website states that the ministry has granted Ophir Energy, Asante Oil, and Prime Resources 18 month contracts to explore land and offshore blocks.

I agree. I think if somaliland is going to get recognised it needs to take several steps and a vote would be a good place to start. But I think the results might prove embarrassing for the die hard somaliland fans i.e. isaq so I doubt it would happen. It's the fear of the unknown that's killing them because of SSC and Awdal state brewing in the background.
