Mawlid of Prophet Muhammed { Sallalau 3alayhi Wa Sallam } is celebrated and an official holiday in every Muslim country except Saudi Arabia.

Good its a day of evil and bid'ah.

We celebrate the Prophet's birthday every week by fasting monday and thursday just like the Prophet legislated for us.

In many of those countries Hijaabis can not attend University, governments deal with Riba, and Alcohol is widely avaliable. The term "Muslim country" doesn't say much.

P.S it has never been a public holiday in Somalia
