What's there to troll about? Appreciating the brave soldiers who defeated the terrorists a couple years back deserve nothing but praise.

There was an election in the 90s which the Islamist party won however the seculars backed by their former colonial power - France - refused to give up the seat and a deadly civil war followed, so how is this army deserving of praise?

First of all the elections were nullified and deemed illegitimate by the ruling party. These so called "Islamists" were terrorists masqurading in democracy. They wanted to turn the country into a base to export their terrorism like the attack in Montreal, Canada which was linked to the terrorists in Algeria.

The government had every right to stamp down on these people because they wanted to overthrow the government after they were denied power via "elections".

I feel sorry for super-khaarijis, they are all complete failures. They don't administrate one country and have been defeated throughout the world. Just look at their Amir for God's sake, he was assassinated while chilling like a coward in Abottobad, Pakistan.

I disagree, that might make sense if the leader was chosen or something, but if a leader took force by power and is bad, it's foolish to say that the people who are powerless are bad.
