What type of Somali are you ?

I think you can pick two, but try to be honest and vote only the ones you feel is your type the most, if you think you are all types then of course you are an idiot because its not possible**do not vote for two type that are in contrast(e.g.Nationalist-Globalist)**, but you can be vote for either two compatible ones or just a single one. This will be interesting, try to be very honest, and if you want you can stay anonymous, but whats the fun in that, try to explain or in the case of Tribalist make a pathetic justification Lol.

I will go first then.

Tribalist, I do not trust in the national identity just yet, although we share so much that some nation could only dream of(common language, ethnicity, religion, culture etc) I feel that the national identity is still weak, Under the Kacaan(the Somali enlightenment) efforts were made to bind us together and convert a largely tribalist Somali society to a New nationalist Somali society, we developed our written language and recorded historical events, poems and stories, we build statues of Somali heroes and emerged as a young ambitious and united state in the International arena, but it was short lived as anti-government tribes destroyed it all.

Our commonality in religion, ethnicity, language, culture etc are not all that great since something as little as our tribe differences has taken precedence over them

How we explain this, I do alot of people watching and studying, so here is my explanation. this may seem odd to you but I have come to understand that the reason we are so tribalist is because we are so common in everything else, if we had a Christian community, Arab community, Chinese community etc, we might not be so tribalist as the hate will be prioritized and spread into diferent categories other than tribalism. But this is not the case and thus we have concentrated all our hatred into Tribal differences, this tribalism is rampant in our society in any case, but I think my explanation is valid and reflects reality.

I couldn't just choose one, I had to begin the process of elimination.

Not a tribalist because I would much rather work with like minded people regardless of their lineage to get my agenda in motion, that does not mean I don't care about my clan.

Not a nationalist as I have no flag in my house or car nor do I attend any of the Somalia celebration events or parties. However I do love my country and do hope to contribute one day insha'allah.

Not a Globalist, in the ideal world I would love all Muslim countries uniting but realistically that won't happen for a very long time!

That leaves me with Individualist, I am of the opinion of every one using their god given brain to come up with tangible solutions Independently, free from clan bias or hidden agendas.

But I would never get along with people like Adali. Alhamdullilah I only come across your likes on the internet, in real life they tend to be all illiterates and freshies. I hate people who are into their tribes with a passion.

I consider myself a nationalist but you qabiilist and pessimistic fuckers are gradually alluring me to your wicked ways. I still yearn for a rebirth of somalia, a day where all somalis from all region of somalia shall join hands and embrace unity one under a single banner. A day where the weak clans that are looked down upon shall be considered strong in their own ways and be given a voice. A day where all the minorities will be given the opportunity to lead and rule over the majority. Conversely, a day where all the majoirity aka the big bullies shall not mind being under the rule of the minorities. A day where all somalis call upon one another to defend one another in times of adversity and enjoy together in times of happiness. A day where all my people shall rise out of their long sleep and wage war against poverty, disease and all of the other pressing problems.

fairly well question how can all these excuses lead you tell yourself be unrelenting and be unfair?
what was once shame could now be taken as a praise!!. on that hollow subject about barre he had the russians breathing down his nick, all the decisions that were made have been done in rehearsal, they built every thing, that why he was great leader until the 1977, then after he lost both russia and america, he started depending on his clan and every thing had gone wrong.
the snets biggest negative is all these maniacs who regulary attacking when they sense weakness. i will continue to perpetuate my somalinimo and muslimnimo message because this is what a muslim should believe.
