With a name like that, I'm surprise you'd even give it a shot.

Mudugawi I agree. The potential of the region and the accomplishments so far do not match.

Elite, you have a very powerful name however do you know what Gedo means?

You're question is rather ambiguous sxb. Am I expected of a defination of what the word gedo means or are you asking me whether I'm familiar with the word and all the ideas it sparks in mind when I see it?

Well I think there is a disconnect between your name (EliteSomali) and your understanding of the Somali culture and language by your derision of the name "Gedo".

Originally the Marehan used to call the land "Sarmaley" (the place of much blood-letting) owing to the violent takeover. The British included it into a greater "Jubbaland" with the the Italians renaming it "Oltre Giuba" (Upper Jubba). The Siad Barre goverment broke up the territory into Lower Jubba, Middle Jubba, and Gedo. Gedo is an old Somali word meaning "camels" and it was designed to give it a historical meaning.

Consider yourself educated.

My exact meaning. Afkaaga caano lagu qabay. Walahi Gedo can be the leading region of Somalia in terms of agriculture, industries(cement, minerals), gas/oil. Fishing (yes the rivers has plenty), heck we can even export alligator meat from the Juba river to the restaurants in Alabama, lol. Seriously Sade need unity more then anything else focus on Gedo then Kismaayo and CW will boom in no time inshalah. Hope Baardheere gets liberated soon inshalah.

Hold your horses sxb. You're attempting to connect dots that are not even there. I explained the reason I chose Elitsomali as my name here. If you wish to know the answer, then please refer back to my older posts. However, Let me disenchant you of a misunderstanding you seem to carry, and that is my name doesn't signify what you thought it a did which unfortunately includes a description of me being a supreme scholar in the Somali culture. I wish.

My mistake came honestly and therefore more pardonable on the grounds that anyone seeing your name could come to the wrong conclusion that you're from mudug. However, he spoke of a subject completely irrelevant. How can the two fall under the same umbrella(hypocrisy), comparatively?
