BTW: Your friend misinformed you about the city, from the sound of it, sounds alot like Cleveland. Cbus isn't as ratchet compared to other cities in Oh. Actually...I been there. Horta he is a young man...prolly in his late twenties or early thirties. Tan labaad...I seriously don't know what to believe. Cause somethings he was saying were true...and some ladies were screaming from the quran. Biyaha tahliisha wee ku gubanaayeen. My adeer paid for the 10 days session...but I only visited for 6 days instead. I got sick and tired of the same things over and over again. He gave us this medicine that made us shit and vomit at the same time lmaooo. WALLAHI shit is crazy...I don't know what to believe of it since I actually experienced it

Nothing new and happens all over. I know a particular person who did something similar. If it were up to me, I'd say name and shame em. Plaster their faces all over masjids, cafes, book stores, xalaal meat shops, etc.

What he's doin is ethically wrong, but he's making profit in a legal way. Its just that his victims are naive.

What prove have you got that he didn't earn his money and didn't help those ladies?

Women and their never ending superstition is to blame here. Somali women seem to be getting more paranoid and its spreading like wild fire. they the one that look for a Sheikh that can help them with perceived problems/issues and they always seem to have an idea what it is and how to cure it. Take Quraan saar for exazmple; over here in the Uk they use and abuse quraan saar. They hope to have their problem go away without any changes on their part. They use any d'ick and farax and there is always a new sheikh in the block who seem to perform miracles, as he helped heblaayo iyo surucyadeedi.

Remember, the "services" these people provide cannot be seen nor touched.

The sheikhs are not the problem but women who would like to use the Qur'an for selfish reasons. Its only natural that there will always be an unscrupulous wadad ready to play into their hopes and fears and cash in on it.
